Golden Valley's Progress:
- New $18.5 million Brookview Community Center built on time and within budget.
- Increased housing diversity with 1600+ new housing units for young professionals, families, people with disabilities & seniors.
- Oversaw the $23 million completion of Douglas Drive.
- Obtained $3 million in state funds to reduce flooding in DeCola Ponds neighborhood.
- 4+ miles of new bike trails and lanes.
- Successful ride-sharing bike & scooter pilot with Lime.
- Constructed six very popular pickle ball courts at Wildwood Park.
- Flashing Yellow Arrows along Highway 55, Douglas Drive & Winnetka Avenue.
- Actively working to revitalize downtown to be more pedestrian-friendly and have a grocery store.
- Advocating to bring light rail, bus rapid transit and better bus service to Golden Valley.
- Protect neighborhood character from overdevelopment.
- Obtain $10 million in state funds for Hwy 55 pedestrian underpass at Douglas Drive and new overpass at Winnetka Avenue.

- Creation of Rising TIDES Equity Task Force to engage and partner with communities of color and disabilities.
- Passage of gun safety reforms to better protect our community.
- Added protections for residents in affordable housing.
- Improved city policy to better protect immigrants, refugees and asylees from ICE "sweeps."

- Advance city equity initiatives in recruitment, hiring, contracting, communications and more diverse programs/services.
- Improve Golden Valley environment and water quality through Green Steps, composting & other waste reduction actions.
- Protect and increase affordable housing opportunities for low-income neighbors.
- Continued support of community building initiatives like Sweet Potato Comfort Pie.
- Better protect health and safety of youth by increasing legal age of tobacco access to age 21.

Golden Valley's Progress:
- Reduced city debt over past four years by 30% from $100 million to $67 million.
- Assisted 100+ GV businesses - including Lat 14 - by accessing more than $4 million in capital through Open to Business program.
- Collaborated with entrepreneurs to create new city ordinance to establish breweries like Under Pressure Brewing.
- Built first-in-state ninja warrior course & barrier-free playground through private-public partnership with Paul's Pals, Golden Valley Rotary, Golden Valley Community Foundation, Three Rivers Park District & Minnesota Wisconsin Playground.
- Enhanced police accountability and training with police body cameras.
- Improved 21st Century communication via Twitter & Instagram.
Golden Valley's Future:
- Increase voter turnout and reduce government costs with even-year elections.
- Continued neighborhood and business outreach and grassroots style of communications.
